2003 Ford Pickup 6.0L Surge, Misfire

after replacing esm, i double checked for vac leaks and
egr/esm leaking @vent hole on new vlave. my question is, is
this a programed or alowable leak? or should i get another
valve? i called dealer but could get a straight answer and

Just started today. Customer called me first thing this
morning. The first I've worked on the 6.0 has egr codes,
when you first start out, tons of smoke. has no power,
won't go down the street (we are in mountains so it is a

1999 Ford Windstar 3.8L Starting
Checked out wiring and grounds to the coil assembly. Turned out good. We then checked compression and found none BLOWN timing belt! Needs new engine! Thanks for the help. |

1999 Ford Explorer 4.0L Transmission
Thanks for your replies guys, I've ended up fitting a second hand valve body and it has fixed the problem cheers. Also the solenoids tested OK too, so there must have been a wierd problem in the valve body. |

called dealer & this truck has one month of warranty left!!! Thanks for the good info & talking w/the dealer, they agreed that it sounded like an egr problem. customer is going to take it to a ford truck dealer. again thanks for another good piece of info.
