2004 Chevrolet Malibu 2.2L Surge, Misfire, MIL Lamp on

No need to re-flash the ECM just move the prom over to new unit, so easy a caveman could do it….. A new ECM corrected the loss of data stream and also made the car run pretty good. This one is solved but the finds are troubling. A known good 7x crank sensor cleared it up, but here's the trouble. I had already scoped the 7x signal and low ref several times before, even during the cut out event and the signal remained clean. So why did'nt ...
