2000 Lincoln Continental 4.6L Poor Idle Quality, Misfire, MIL Lamp on
customer started vehical & miss fire was there. checked
spark, check injector pulse, fuel pressure is 54psi. &
holding.i also switch coils. pulled spark plugs fuel
soaked. did a compression test cylinder 4 120psi. cylinder
5 0psi. i can see that no compression... Trouble codes: p0304 (cylinder 4 miss-fire), p0305 (cylinder 5 miss-fire). |

2001 Lincoln Town Car 4.6L vents
ac is ice cold, and air flow seems ok in all positions,
defrost, floor, and vents. but very little flow through the
vent, i replace motor last week and resistor yesterday. all
actuators seem to be working. thanks for all your help. |

one came with complant of not idleing correctly got into
shop and running a little bad noticed all the new parts and
called to see what all was done listed in related history

Thank you to Paul from North Dakota. He got me lined right up with my diagrams. purple was left green was right and the double blacks were ground. The blue was illumination and orange was the power. The case is the ground point. |

1991 Ford Pickup 4.9L Excessive Emissions, Surge
Replaced MLPS with updated Motorcraft part as per recommendation here, seems to have fixed all the symptoms. Customer is going to drive the truck for a few days and report back to me.

1992 Ford Thunderbird 5.0L ABS accumulator and pressure switch
Although I am not happy about it, the fix is to convert the vehicle back to a non-ABS configuration. There are instructions on several of the T-Bird and Cougar forums. Liability concerns prevent me from saying anything more.

Hey guys thanks for the help. We changed the drive sprocket and installed the correct chain. We also changed the converter bypass valve as we found that it had some wear.Problem solved!Thanks again! Howard |

FURTHER DIAGNOSES REVEALED SOME PREVIOUS OWNER HAD REMOVED THE AIRBAG LIGHT FROM THE CLUSTER BECAUSE OF A BAD AIRBAG SENSOR. WE REPLACED THE AIRBAG BULB AND REPLACED THE AIRBAG SENSOR, PROBLEM SOLVED. MANY THANKS TO ALL THAT RESPONDED!! |
