1997 Ford F-Super Duty 7.3L Surge, Cuts out, MIL Lamp on
i suspect faulty i.d.m. but I'm not a diesel tech, after
hard driving under load about 10 min. engine will lose
power, to me it seems like running out of fuel but icp
pressure is good, if anything icp goes up when problem

1997 Ford Escort 2.0L MIL Lamp on
car came in mil lite on.code 401,insufficient egr.scanned
dpfe,.69 volts.dpfe dead.thought it was just another sensor

1998 Ford Pickup 4.6L Misfire, MIL Lamp on
Hi Guy's, I a good one here this truck came in with a check
engine light on and misfiring under a load. The code was
P0302 so I pulled the spark plug on cyl. no. 2 to find it

Thanks Randy and all others who responded. Turned out to be a blown head gasket. We used a head gasket tester and found exhaust in the coolant and excessive pressure.

I want to thank the guys that responded I did find the wiring harness insulation cracking and falling off. Advised customer and they decided to trade the car off as the cost to repair was more than the car was worth. Thanks again, Dave |
