1997 BMW 540i 4.4L Transmission
Transmission goes into limp mode. We extracted code 08 -
Selection Lever Position 2. If code is cleared transmission
shifts fine. Before we get into this we wanted to see if
anyone could give us a heads up on this code. |

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this. I am
having problems figuring out this Automatic Slip Reduction.
The light comes on and the throttle wont Accelerate. It
seems that these are common for a wire harness break down,

found a slightly torn hose [...] evap purge valve under intake manifold, replace hose & purge valve(just in case), customer drive 100 miles, and it pass evap monitors. pass smog. Thank you for all the imformation again. Trouble codes: P0442 (evap control system leak detected small leak), P0441 (evap control system incorrect purge flow), P1250. |
