2000 Dodge Pickup 5.9L Cuts out
this problem is intermittent. truck quits and will have a
buss in speedo had scanner on it said possibe problem would
be a crank sensor. replaced sensor ran fine for a while.
When it quits the buss comes up where speedo reads mileage.

Good information was sent by all. I did return the idle stop screw to the position it appeared to have been in to start with. Also my fuzzy memory was defuzzed with the confirmation the DTC's were bogus. Retested o2 and dist pickup on Saturday. Dist pickup wa... Thanks to all who responded. I was kinda shocked at how few responses we got but, this one is fixed. It ended up being the coil pack. The injector driver code was throwing us off so we hesistated on trying a coil. We borrowed a 'good' coil pack to try which he... Trouble codes: P0201 (inj 1 control circuit fires improperly), P0300 (Random cyl. mis), P0301 (Cyl 1 mis), P0303 (Cyl 3 mis), P0700 (Trans Fault Present). |
