1994 Buick LeSabre 3.8L No Start, Hesitation, Cuts out, Stall, MIL Lamp on hi everyone,
I have a good one here, this car has an intermitten no
start. The cam and crank sensors have been replaced along
with the icm and pcm. Still having a no start condition

voltage, checked map with vantage and vac pump- all checked
good. Did smoke test for vac leaks but didn't find any.
Checked fuel pressure at idle it was in the low 40's. The

phone problem. This van came in failing I/M with a P0160 no
activeity on bank 2 sensor 2. The funny thing is that it

counters show 2,4,6,8 all miss fire. problem will come and
go. looked at injetor amp ramp and no problems there. also

Well, it turned out to be a combination of things as it usually does. The egr was sticking intermittently. The spark plugs were gapped too big by customer but I think the major problem is a timing chain that needs replaced but the customer declined... Trouble codes: 33 (MAP sensor). |

I Drilled holes in the exhaust to make sure the converters are not pluged, it made no difference. Ended up puting in a new MAF and it runs alot better. Seems that the dealer may have been in the right area but wrong fix. They first replace injector 6 and problem was gone for a week or so then they replaced ... Trouble codes: p0103 (mass airflow circuit high), p0174 (system lean bank 2), p0300 (random missfire), p0356 (ignition coil f primary circuit). |
