2001 BMW 740i 4.4L MIL Lamp on
The E38 Sports are my absolute favorite. But this one is
getting on my bad side right now. I am leaning towards the
MAF sensor due to the fuel trims, but convinced this is not
the only problem. It has been a few years sinse I last had

Thanks to all the replies we've received.Unfortunately most of you were wrong with the ignition module on top of air filter housing.This new model( i think) has got the power stages inside of the ECU.There's no power stage to find in the engine compartment.

1998 BMW M3 3.2L top is inop

Thanks to all who replied. The fix ended up being a bad brake light switch. Both micro-switches in the brake light switch tested ok when I checked them but must ahve been failing intermittently. |

Thanks to all who replied. the fix for this one was rather simple. Just leave radio on until wait message is replaced by 'code' (up to 24 hours) depending on how many times wrong code was entered, or entered incorrectly. Then enter code. |
