1998 Ford Econoline 4.2L Misfire, MIL Lamp on
During testing I found that misfire goes away if I
disconnect EGR solonoid.I am unfamiliar with the egr
passages on this motor.It seems to me that cylinder #3 is
getting the majority of the EGR flow essentially killing

have determined the problem is with oil flow thru vct system. when cams come out of phase the engine oil pressure has dropped to 22-28 psi at hot idle. preformed multiple engine oil flushes and the problem goes away for about 50 - 60 miles now and oil pressure... Trouble codes: p0022 (camshaft bank 2 overretarded). |
