I found a tsb relating to oil supply banjo fitting filters

THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLIED. I REPLACED THE IGN. CONTROL MODULE AGAIN AND USED THE LAB SCOPE TO LOOK AT THE INPUTS TO THE ICM. FOUND A SHORT TO GROUND ON THE BLUE WIRE FROM PCM TO ICM. Trouble codes: 15 (ign. signal output). |

2000 Acura 3.2TL 3.2L Surge, Misfire, MIL Lamp on
Thanks for all of the help from the replies. Found out that the transmission was switching in and out of lock up causing the surge at cruising speed. Also second gear clutches were releasing slightly causing the car to feel like it had a misfire. The codes ... Trouble codes: P0301 (cylinder 1 misfire), P0305 (cylinder 5 misfire), P1456 (evap. leak), P0300 (random multiple cylinder misfire). |

Sorry for the delay/ it turned out to be a blown head gasket,after all. The easiest test for me was filling the radiator up all the way to full and pinching off the over flow tube and cranking and cranking the engine over. I did it at night when it was dark an... Trouble codes: p1399 (missfires), po301 (1 misfire), po302 (2 missfire), po505 (iac fault). |
